Behind the scenes

When Martyn Morgan and Derek Simmonds took over the Partnership of Talbots in 1992 they wanted to turn the traditional model for law firms on its head. They aspired to offer a truly client centered approach and be famous for being straightforward, personal and caring - values that continue to be just as relevant today.

Whilst the Practice can trace its roots back to 1828, its focus is firmly on the future. Recent growth means Talbots now has 60 solicitors, 6 offices, 140 staff and an ever growing list of Private, Publicly Funded and Corporate Clients and is proud to be regarded as one of the leading law firms in the West Midlands.

"I've dealt with many solicitors in the last 10 years, and without a doubt this has been my best experience...

I am thrilled to have found an outstanding solicitor and assistants".
