Stourbridge and Kidderminster Solicitors, Talbots, have added three new services to
their free legal advice clinics.
Talbots, through their associated company -Talbots Legal Advice Centre, can now offer initial help with welfare benefit, debt and employment problems, through specialist solicitor, Jodie Smith, who has recently joined the Centre. Talbots has a Legal Aid franchise in these and other areas and many people may, therefore, qualify for free legal assistance.
Free advice clinics are held at the Market Street offices, Stourbridge, on Saturday mornings between 9.30 am and 12 noon, and at Church Street, Kidderminster each Tuesday evening between 5pm and 7pm.
Jodie explains: "These are major problems for a growing number of people. More people are finding themselves sacked or have issues with their employers, many are struggling to cope with debt and may be confused by benefit law.” Jodie can also offer assistance in attending the Police Station or Magistrates Court as required.
