A recent event organised by the staff at our Hagley Road office provided an extremely fun afternoon of wacky entertainment.
The Talbots Derby was horse-racing with a difference. Little wooden horses about 6 inches high were “wound up” by the competitors, each sitting on a chair with their back to the race and unable to see the horse attached to the piece of string they were furiously winding. Betting was brisk and the results were only slightly fiddled! Family members joined in and the event and a fine time was had by all!
