Talbots have come to the aid of buyers in the beleaguered property market by introducing the Talbots Property Information Pack.
While the Government has introduced a Sellers Home Information Pack - a limited pack of information required by a seller to market their property, Talbots have taken the innovative step of providing a pack for all their buyers free of charge. This comprises a folder containing information on buying and selling, a useful glossary of terms to help uncover the mysteries of the conveyancing procedure for clients and sections where clients can file all information relating to the contract, searches, mortgage and title deeds.
Martyn Morgan, Senior Partner and Head of the Residential Conveyancing Department stated “Our clients often arrive at the office with a bundle of documents relating to their transaction in a carrier bag and this folder will assist them in collating all information – not only throughout the transaction, but also for reference after the clients have moved. As the transaction develops, we shall provide useful information, such as ownership of boundaries, plans of the property, details of existing utility providers and a countdown of the practical steps which the buyer should arrange before the big day, even going as far as to remind them to notify doctors, dentists and opticians of their change of address!”.
