In 2002 Talbots became the first firm in the area, and one of only a very small percentage of law firms in general, to be awarded the Lexcel practice management standard accreditation - evidence of the rigorous management systems operated by the firm to ensure that our clients' work is handled competently, professionally and efficiently.
In addition to these accreditations, Talbots holds contracts with the Legal Services Commission for the provision of legal advice, assistance and representation in respect of criminal law and family law - what used to be known as Legal Aid. These contracts are only awarded to firms who can demonstrate a consistently high quality of work.
