Having grown tired of the forced formality and lack of consistency with the many breakfast clubs to which we were invited locally, we at Talbots decided to start our own meetings for local businesses, large and small, who would gather on a monthly basis to exchange ideas and build good local relationships.

Having now run for almost three years, the Breakfast Club has been a resounding success, with a stronghold of regular members and new faces appearing every month.

The meetings start at 8 o’clock, providing a good opportunity for informal networking before breakfast is served at 8:20. Although we regularly have speakers, the emphasis is very much on enjoyment and informality in order to keep a bright modern approach to such meetings.

We pride ourselves in hosting the meetings only at the best local venues and we currently meet at Hagley Hall. By supporting local businesses we are able to keep costs down to a minimum, there is no subscription fee payable, merely an attendance fee of £15 per head. For this you receive both the opportunity to meet many local businesses and enjoy a hearty cooked breakfast.

In the spirit of change, our food takes on a different theme each month, ensuring that even those who attended when we started don’t tire of the food on offer.
