Martyn specialises in Residential Property and is a member of the Practice's Strategic Management Team, which has collective responsibility for looking after the day-to-day details as well as the challenge of developing the long-term direction of the firm.
Martyn has progressed through the ranks working as an Articled Clerk, Assistant Solicitor and Partner before a brief sojourn to Europe where he assisted British buyers in the French property market. Returning to the UK in 1991, Martyn worked with his fellow Partner, Derek Simmonds, to acquire Talbots of Kidderminster and the branch office of Tandy Wickstead in Stourbridge to effectively form what is the present day Talbots Solicitors.
Martyn qualified as a Solicitor in 1977 at the tender age of 22, and is also a Trustee of two local charities.
