Gillian is head of the Trusts and Estate department specialising in Wills, Probate, Trusts, Inheritance Tax Planning, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection work, and Community Care issues for the elderly.
Based at the Kidderminster office, Gillian shares her expertise Practice-wide and travels to see clients including home visits for elderly or disabled individuals.
Gillian was articled at Addison Cooper Jesson & Co, Walsall - but there was no law against this at the time! Stints at David Edwards & Co in Lichfield and Adcocks of West Bromwich proved steps on the road to Talbots' front-door where she found herself in 2003.
A Brummie educated lass, Gillian left the Second City and headed west to obtain her Law degree and to attend Chester Collage of Law to undertake the Solicitor's Final examinations.
Gillian is a lawyer with a conscience being both a member of the National Trust and Amnesty International but bizarrely she also likes shooting... photographs! Gillian enjoys walking around the Bewdley countryside snapping away together with taking photographs of her writer-husband, Ian R MacLeod. Some of Gillian's photographs of Ian have appeared on book jackets, hi-fi magazines and on the web - why didn't we ask her to take ours? ...probably because she is reassuringly expensive!
