Could you qualify?
If you are in receipt of the following then you automatically qualify for advice and assistance under the legal aid scheme?
- Income Support
- Income based Job Seekers allowance
- Guaranteed State Pension Credit
You may qualify for legal aid if you are in receipt of a low income.
To determine whether you can receive legal aid, the following would be taken into account:
- Your disposable income (money left after paying living expenses)
- Your disposable capital (money, investments or property you could use or sell to pay for legal help)
